Lady Court Scholarship
Lady CourtPreamble
The Lady Court Scholarship (previously J M Butt Paediatric Nursing Scholarship) was established by the Dorothy Clarke Paediatric Nursing Fund with the support of the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation (previously Incorporated Body of Princess Margaret Hospital for Children) in 1991. The Scholarship commemorates the significant contribution made by Lady J.M. Court MBE to nursing and child health care between 1969 and 1989.
Purpose
Scholarships will be awarded to applicants for the following:
- Conference attendance (including registration, travel/airfare, accommodation, subsistence and transfers).
- Study tours (travel/airfare, accommodation, subsistence and transfers).
- Tuition fees associated with formal study (i.e. enrolment in a relevant post graduate tertiary/accredited course, textbooks and software).
Eligibility
Eligibility is limited to nurses employed at PMH who are financial members* of the Australian College of Children and Young People’s Nurses, WA Chapter (formerly Association of Paediatric and Child Health Nurses (WA) Inc.) and make a significant contributions to PMH and/or the ACCYPN.
Up to $10,000 will be awarded annually.

*Applicants must have been members of the ACCYPN for more than 12 months.
