Abstract:

Supporting the community with systems to raise children requires supportive teams of health care professionals open to their own personal and professional growth.  As we make our institutional systems safer, are we really ready to admit to mistakes?  Are we making it safer for children and if not for them, for whom?  Do we have the courage to redefine what we are doing and why and envisage a different way for different times?  This keynote address aims to influence a future of wellness for both the ACCYPN and the recipients of our care.
