Running into 2026 Head First – Common paediatric injuries

Simon has over 10 years of experince working as a Nurse Practitioner in the Emergency Department of Perth Childen’s Hosptial and Princess Margaret Hospital.
He has an interest in Paediatric Injuries, staff education, quality improvement and research. Simon has been involved in writing clinical guidelines that are used at a local and state level. His guidelines have also been used by interstate and international hospitals to shape service delivery.
Recently, Simon has been providing a fortnightly Advanced Practice Education sessions aimed at Nurses, Nurse Practitioners and Post-grad students. In 2025, he was involved in the PCH ED Nurse Practitioner Expansion trial over the winter period.
