Validation Workshop
ACCYPN Standards of Practice for Children and Young Peoples Nurses
Be part of shaping contemporary specialist nursing practice.
Join us to validate the revised ACCYPN Standards of Practice and help ensure they are clear, relevant, and fit for purpose across clinical, education, and academic settings.
About the revised standards
The ACCYPN Standards of Practice for Children and Young Peoples Nurses provide a critical framework for specialist nursing practice. The standards have been comprehensively reviewed to ensure they remain contemporary and aligned with the NMBA Standards for Practice for Registered Nurses.
How the revision was developed
This work has been supported by funding from the WA Nurses Memorial Charitable Trust and informed by a scoping review and Delphi process to refine and align the standards with current professional expectations.
Your expertise and insights are highly valued; we invite you to contribute to validating the revised standards.
What you will do in the workshop
- Validate the revised standards
- Explore application to practice, including identifying observable behaviours
- Suggest strategies for dissemination across clinical settings, academia, and nursing education
