ACCYPN Standards of Practice for Children and Young People’s Nurses; validation workshop
ACCYPN Standards of Practice for Children and Young People’s Nurses; validation workshop
We invite you to participate in a validation workshop for the revised ACCYPN Standards of Practice for Children and Young People’s Nurses.
ACCYPN Standards of Practice for Children and Young People’s Nurses provide a critical framework for specialist nursing practice involving children and young people. In response to the evolving healthcare landscape, the standards have recently undergone a comprehensive review to ensure they remain contemporary, relevant, and aligned with the NMBA Standards of Practice for Registered Nurses.
This work has been supported by funding from the WA Nurses Memorial Charitable Trust. A scoping review of the literature was conducted to examine existing standards and their development processes, followed by a Delphi technique to refine and align the standards with current professional expectations.
Your expertise and insights are highly valued, and we invite you to contribute to the validation of the revised standards.
Workshop Objectives
- To validate the revised standards
- To explore application to practice, including identification of observable behaviours
- To develop strategies for dissemination across diverse clinical settings, academia, \and nursing education
