Kerry completed her postgraduate studies in Continence in 1995. She started the first nurse-led Continence service at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Perth WA in 1996. In 2002, she became Clinical Nurse Consultant Continence at Princess Margaret Hospital Enuresis & Continence Service. Kerry completed her Post Graduate Certificate in Paediatric Nursing in 2007. She moved the Continence & Enuresis service to the new Perth Children's Hospital in 2018. Kerry became a credentialled Children and Young People’s Nurse in 2025. Her areas of interest are early intervention in toilet training for children born with Hirschsprung’s disease or Ano–Rectal Malformations, children with complex colorectal issues, daytime bladder dysfunction and Nocturnal Enuresis.
