Clinical Supper August – Inklings Program: A Program that Supports Social Communication in Babies who are Developing Differently
The ACCYPN WA Chapter is excited to share details of their upcoming event on Tuesday, 6th August, hosted at Perth Children’s Hospital. This event will feature insights into the Telethon Kids Institute’s Inklings Program, designed specifically for babies aged 6-18 months who exhibit early differences in social interaction and communication development. The Inklings Program represents a culmination of extensive research spanning decades in the UK and Australia. It aims to support parents of babies who may demonstrate variations in their communication and interaction patterns at an early stage.
Lindy Henry and Michele Renton, Inklings Specialists, will provide a comprehensive overview of the Inklings Program and how it encorporated research findings into supportive practices for families. It underscores the commitment to early intervention and support in enhancing developmental outcomes for infants.
The ACCYPN WA Chapter looks forward to welcoming attendees to this insightful event, fostering collaborative learning and dialogue in paediatric care and developmental psychology.
