Presenter Bio’s:
Dr John Wray
Clinical Associate Professor, Developmental Paediatrician
Dr John Wray trained as a Paediatrician in Perth and completed a Fellowship in Neurodevelopmental Paediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, USA. He is a Developmental Paediatrician at the State Child Developmental Service. He also works in private practice at McCourt St Paediatrics. Dr Wray sees a wide range of children with developmental concerns however he has a special interest in the care of children with autism spectrum disorders.
Chelsea Pforr
Senior Occupational Therapist
Chelsea is a Senior Occupational Therapist with KKIND: Keeping Kids in No Distress at Perth Children’s Hospital. She has over 20 years’ experience as an OT, predominantly in the field of paediatrics across both community and the acute care setting. She has been a Senior OT at PCH for approximately four years and during that time has been a passionate advocate for the needs of neurodiverse children/adolescents in accessing essential healthcare within a hospital environment. This has involved collaborative work with both children/adolescents, their families and hospital staff.
